Wired Bike Camp: Day 3

(ambient music)

Well we went out for, what was supposed to be a light

40 mile ride.

We were at the back of the pack

after making some adjustments.

There's not much service up here.

One wrong turn and you're GPS battery runs out or your

phone dies and you can get seriously lost.

We almost got turned around a bunch of times but

we ended up figuring it out.

I was with Adam, we were kind of like together on this

whole adventure.

We just wanted to finish the ride and about a mile

and a half from the house, he gets a flat.

Yeah the flat was kind of a bummer,

but you know, it happens.

I was talking to Jon, he stopped by the side of the road

with me.

You know there are certainly worse situations in which

I could've flatted.

We were next to a vineyard, it's a beautiful day,

can't really ask for more, so.

So he has to actually get picked up in the follow car

and I managed to make it home, I just wanted to

finish the ride.

Made it that far.

(rock music)

[Adam] Today's ride was pretty good.

Enjoyed ourselves.

Did some wine country touring.

It's a beautiful day, it's beautiful scenery.

Great roads.

It was a good ride.

(applause and cheering)

Took a wrong turn at Occidental.

[Other Biker] Yeah we all did.

I mean he took the right wrong turn though, didn't you?
