Go Fourth! It Is the Final Countdown for Amazon Prime Day Live Coverage
It's Day Four. Somehow it's still Prime Day. The deals are live. The deals are wild. The deals are almost feral. We are still here in the trenches digging up the deals and trends.
It is the final day of Amazon Prime Day—the final countdown, the time of FOMO dread, the last official day of the best deals. The fourth day is the day when we bring you the sun, the moon, and the stars. After today, many things will cost a little bit more for the foreseeable future—especially laptops.
But new deals are still rolling out all day today. Friday is the day when a lot of you get your paychecks, and so Amazon is filling up the virtual racks with impulse buys. We'll be out here sorting the true deals from the fake deals. You worked hard for that paycheck, and we plan to make sure you get something really good out of it. Like, 40% off Bose headphones good. You know? We all persist together.
We will update our overview of the absolute best Amazon Prime Day deals three times today. We'll add new terrific deals. We'll cut the deals that already died, or that don't look quite as fresh. And we'll be here live all day with the most Lightning of deals, mowing our lawn with robots while we work, and spouting bum opinions about how you shouldn't spend more than $500 on a Chromebook.
We're here. It's still Prime Day. It is always Prime Day.

A Robot Mower is What I'd Actually Buy Today
A few minutes ago, I mowed my grass. In the middle of Amazon Prime Day, when I'm working 10 to 14-hour days. We got lots of rain over the past week, and it was getting pretty raggedy.
Happily, all it took was opening an app and pushing a button. Done. Back to the blog.
See those mowing lines? They were not there 30 minutes ago.
Name a Better Day to Buy a Laptop—I'll Wait
WIRED reviewer Luke Larsen has tested and vetted all of these laptops that are all on sale. Buying a laptop or computer is no spur-of-the-moment decision. Fortunately, Luke has done the thinking for you. Some of our favorite deals include the HP Omnibook 3 (2026) for $546 ($424 off), the Alienware 16X Aurora for $2,100 ($345 off), and the MSI Cyborg A15 for $1,124 ($76 off). You can find more deals here.
Yes, There Is a Kindle for Less Than $100 Right Now
This great Prime Day deal is perhaps your best chance to get an excellent e-reader for less than $100. This 11th-gen model is the littlest and most basic Kindle. The screen is just 6 inches, which is the approximate size of a much older technology called a “mass-market paperback.”
But for this, you'll still get a bright front light, zippy performance, the same resolution as more expensive models, and a month of battery life to make for long reading sessions. At $85, you won't do better—and this is the best deal we've seen on this model all year.
It's Getting Hot in Here
The demand for air conditioners skyrockets in the summertime for obvious reasons. That also means fewer discounts and deals. The only exception is Amazon Prime Day. If you have neglected to invest in a portable or window air conditioner during the offseason, have no fear, the WIRED team is here with the best deals. Prime Day is wrapping up, so I would act fast. Some of our favorites include the Zafro Lullaby Duo Portable AC for $527 ($93 off), the Midea U-Shaped Air Conditioner for $420 ($90 off), and the Windmill 8,100 BTU with WhisperTech for $379 ($70 off). You can find more sales in our roundup.
Hey, Look—An Actual Good Monitor for $130
Friday is the day my eyes get tired, and when I get sad about my wee laptop screen. And so this low-cost 1080p Dell monitor may be my last purchase of Prime Day. WIRED's resident computer and laptop reviewer, Luke Larsen, came across this one recently as the best monitor he could find under $200. Briefly, today, this 27-inch Dell monitor is also the best monitor one can find under $130.
The resolution is standard, the colors are faithful, and the refresh is a zippy 144 Hz—which means I could use this for gaming once I'm done tracking all these choice dealz for y'all.
We've Found the Best Tech Deals This Prime Day
What would be Amazon Prime Day be without tech deals? The WIRED team has compiled a list of the best tech deals available right now, and we only recommend what we've tested and vetted. When I say tech, we're talking A/V, phones and accessories, computers, tablets and e-readers, and home tech deals.
You can snag the AirPods Pro 3 for $179 ($70 off). Get the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Gen) for $35 ($25 off). Or upgrade your home office setup with the Dell 27 Plus 4K Monitor (S2725QS) for $218 ($82 off).
This Is the Air Fryer I Take to a Cookout
The Ninja Crispi portable air fryer (7/10 WIRED Recommends) is the only air fryer I take to a cookout, a backyard party, or a pool party. That's because the fryer's cooking basket can double as both a Tupperware-style storage dish without the plastic, and a serving dish.
So what you do is, you make the meal—and put it in the borosilicate glass container, and put the airtight lid on it for storage. When you arrive, you slap the portable Crispi heating element atop the glass dish, and you press the “reheat” button. Generally, 7 to 9 minutes does the job.
Now your cookout meal is piping hot at the cookout without rubberizing your food in a microwave. Life is good. It's changed my whole potluck game. The 3-dish bundle, which is what you want, is $50 off today.
My Favorite Pair of Headphones Are on Sale
The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones are my favorite pair of noise-canceling headphones. No ifs, ands, or buts. The latest model are on sale for $379 ($70 off) and come with upgrades like lossless audio over USB-C, a battery life of up to 30 hours (without immersive audio), and Cinema mode, which enhances dialogue.
But the first-generation has dropped to just $269 ($160 off). You'll miss out on a few upgrades, but you'll still get premium sound, plush comfort, and elite noise canceling, for a whole lot less. You can't go wrong with either pair, but if I were you, I'd snag the OG.
Your Cat Is Sick of Its Dirty Bathroom. Get a Discounted Automatic Litter Box.
Are cats low-maintenance, or have we just normalized their neglect? In this essay, I will… Just kidding, I’ll spare you. But seriously, one of the best things you can do to improve your cat's health and overall well-being is invest in an automatic litter box. Cats are extremely clean creatures. Like us, they think it’s gross to use a dirty bathroom. This litter box will clean the bathroom so you don't have to.
This automatic litter box is my midrange-priced pick for most people. It doesn’t have the bells and whistles like built-in AI or a connected camera, but it works consistently well, keeps things clean, always smells fresh, is easy to use, and has a connected app to manage things from afar.
Buy This Deodorant, Stinky
You’re an adult, and you deserve an upgrade to the old run-of-the-mill Dove or Old Spice deodorants. I like Native deodorant because it feels like a step above, and a little more adult, with rotating scents like Citrus & Herbal Musk or Cucumber & Mint. I also appreciate that the formula is vegan, hydrating, and lasts for a full day.
A Robot Vacuum Without Dust Bags!
Like the Dyson vacuums and stick vacuums that have basically taken over the whole vacuum … thing … this robo-vacuum from ECOVACS has dustbinned the dust bag. Instead, like a Dyson, the Deebot uses a rounded canister that circles up the debris so that it won't tangle.
Why's this good? It means you don't have to buy a dust bag over and over. My former WIRED colleague and longtime robot vacuum expert Adrienne So vouched for this as a welcome design feature. It's likely much more welcome at $400 off list price.
This Pet Camera Never Misses a Moment—and Feeds My Cats Treats
This affordable pet camera model has everything I’m looking for in a pet camera: it dispenses treats; pans so you can see the whole room; and, if you subscribe, has highlights from the day, broken down by activity or motion. It pans to the left and right so you can see the entire surrounding area, has super-clear 1080p HD color and night-vision resolution, two-way audio so you can hear, talk to, and see your pet, and treat dispensing through the app. Plus, there's also seven-day storage, and a report of insights into your pet's daily activities.
If you opt for Furbo’s Nanny service, it snaps pics and sends safety alerts about things like smoke or fallen objects, along with chewing or barking/meowing alerts. It can even spot intruders, too. The video clips are stored in the Cloud, so you can review the footage at any time.
Look At How Cute This Dang Robot Vacuum Is
I trust Nena Farrell's product recommendations implicitly, and she says this is the robot vacuum to buy this Prime Day. I cannot get over how adorable I find its little house to be. Not only is it a powerful vacuum, with enough suction to clean up messes but not so much suction that it'll messes while cleaning; It also has a rolling mop pad that can apply sufficient enough pressure to clean gross, sticky spills with ease. It's smart enough to navigate your home and avoid hazards. And it's got a ton of value in comparison to other botvacs that cost the same, even when it isn't on sale. Picking it up for $300 off is huge.
Laptops Are Getting More Expensive. But We Found Some Deals to Help
Buying a laptop is already tricky because you need to pay close attention to detail and balance all the features you want with the budget you have. But time is of the essence, because they're consistently getting more expensive—Apple just raised prices on its lineup this week. Our very own Luke Larsen has been writing about laptops for years, and he sleuthed down the best deals you can snag before they expire with the day. MacBooks, Chromebooks, gaming models from Alienware, and more are featured in our roundup. If you're in the market, don't miss it.
This Date Night Box Probably Won’t Save Your Marriage, But It’s Worth a Try
Earlier this year, I tested a dozen date night boxes with a bunch of random men I met on Hinge, to mixed results. And this is the one that I think may work best for long-term couples who’re looking for new ways to reconnect that aren’t just a pizza and movie night. This is a big book designed to be a jumping-off point for new dates, with 50 date ideas, organized into sections, with each idea boxed in gray and symbols indicating how much time it takes, how much it costs, supplies needed, and more. Based on the symbols, you’ll scratch off to reveal the surprise date beneath (scratcher-lottery-ticket-style). From sexy baking to painting to roadtrip adventures, there’s probably a date in there that’ll be interesting to you and your partner.
A Gaming Mouse We Like Is Less Expensive Than Usual
Computer mice are like headphones in that there are a lot of perfectly fine options all around the same price point. I've been a Logitech mouse user for years and have not once regretted it. This is the non-compact version of our favorite gaming mouse for smaller hands. It has a 95-hour battery life, 8,000-Hz polling, and an ultra-sensitive sensor all rolled into a supremely lightweight package. This is the best deal we've ever seen for it. If weight matters to you, this only weighs 60 grams—about as much as an egg.
Stock Up on Your Favorite Beauty Products
The best time to stock up on beauty products is Amazon Prime Day. Whereas tech products usually get discounted because they're older models, you can almost always find the latest and trendiest beauty products on sale. Snag a hair straightener for less than $30. Splurge on this premium hair dryer that's $91 cheaper. Stock up on SPF lip balm for the summertime. We've rounded up a list of some of our favorite beauty products that are on sale in this guide.
I’m Taking This Cooler to The Beach ASAP
Sometimes you need a rugged, durable, rotomolded cooler that can keep your ice frozen for multiple days. And sometimes you just need a cute little companion that can keep your sandwiches cold on your beach date. This picnic basket cooler from Igloo is the latter. It’s not too heavy, too durable, or too great at ice retention. But it’s perfect for an afternoon lunch or evening charcuterie, especially at this Prime Day price.
Toss Treats at Your Dog From Afar With This Pet Camera
This pet camera is marketed toward dogs, but both cats and dogs will like its treat-dispensing feature. Not only does this device hurl treats on demand, the camera pans left and right for 360-degree room views, so that you know what’s going on whether you're a room away or across the country. It has: a crystal clear 1080p and color night-vision camera, two-way communication, noise notifications, and 360-degree pan abilities. It also uses auto-tracking to follow your pet, making it easier for you to find them on your phone screen while using the app. Normally almost $200, this is the biggest discount we’ll see until the holidays.
These Bento Boxes Are Meant for Tweens, But I'm 32 and Using Them Anyway Because Nobody Can Stop Me
I think the OmieBox Up would work well in any kitchen. It's designed to safely transport big-kid lunches, with a waterproof seal, an insulated thermos, and dividable compartments for stashing things like carrot sticks or sauces. But as a 32-year-old woman, I consider myself to be a big kid sometimes, and I like packing myself a lunch in this too. It only weighs about a pound and a half, and the big square compartment is perfectly sandwich-sized if you don't want to bring the insulated bowl. Each part is individually replaceable, too. Every color is on sale for Prime Day, all of them perfectly bright and adorable.
