I think I'll just summarize it.

[Speaker] Yeah. Okay, alright.

Okay, okay.

Hi, this is Jiayi Chong, CTO and co-founder of dConstruct.

I'm here to answer your questions on 3D mapping.

This is 3D mapping support and we're live from Switch.

How can 3D scanning and autonomous robots make search

and rescue missions faster, safer, and more precise?

Robots definitely have a role to play in search

and rescue operations.

The search and rescue location might have lots of smoke

or smog that obscure human sensory systems.

Our robots at dConstruct navigate with multimodal systems.

That means we can navigate both with cameras,

but LiDAR and even like thermal sensors.

At the core, they use

what we call a 3D LiDAR, which allows us to scan match

with the 3D map that's installed on the robot.

And the robot will then be able to localize itself

and determine where it is in the map.

Why is Singapore such a strong base

for developing next-generation robotics

and 3D reconstruction technologies?

So there's quite a few advantages

to doing a tech startup here in Singapore.

The government entities are very supportive

of the local tech and definitely robotics communities.

So you have very good support, not just in funding,

but also networking, where they link up local companies

with not just academics, but also global big tech companies.

And they will actually introduce you

to different folks in your field of expertise

to either get some research done

or maybe feature a part of your product developed.

So that's been extremely helpful.
